State-of-the-Art Technology
New Indoor Swing Studio
Step into the future of golf coaching and indoor practice at Malton & Norton Golf Club, powered by industry-leading TrackMan iO technology.
Something big has been taking shape behind the scenes. We are thrilled to unveil the brand-new JP Golf Swing Studio, situated conveniently at the back of the Pro Shop at Malton & Norton Golf Club.
Designed to deliver a world-class coaching, fitting, and virtual play experience whatever the weather outside, our purpose-built studio brings tour-level precision to golfers in Malton, Norton, and across North Yorkshire.
Powered by TrackMan iO Technology
At the beating heart of our new studio is the TrackMan iO system. Engineered specifically for optimized indoor environments, TrackMan iO combines high-speed radar tracking with ultra-high-resolution dual camera optics to capture the exact physics of your swing and ball flight with pinpoint accuracy.
Every single shot delivers instantaneous, actionable insight into your technique:
- Instant Club & Face Delivery: Track face angle at impact, club path, attack angle, dynamic loft, and strike location on the face.
- True Ball Flight Analytics: Measure real launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, ball speed, and apex height without estimation.
- High-Definition Video Playback: Synchronised slow-motion video captures your swing plane, posture, and transition for instant visual feedback.
- Virtual Course Play & Practice Modes: Play world-famous championship courses, take on targeted range challenges, or dial in bag gapping in complete comfort.
Year-Round Practice in Complete Comfort
Golf in the UK has always been subject to rain, biting wind, and early winter twilights. The new swing studio eliminates every weather barrier. Heated, brightly lit, and sheltered, it provides a consistent, controlled environment where you can work on swing changes without wearing restrictive winter layers or contending with soggy turf.
Whether you want to spend an hour dialing in wedge distances, comparing driver shafts, or simply enjoying a social round on the simulator with friends while sharing a coffee, the studio offers a welcoming space for golfers of all skill levels.
PGA Coaching Meets Tour-Level Feedback
Technology is at its best when paired with professional coaching. Joel Preston uses TrackMan's detailed diagnostic tools to eliminate the guesswork from golf instruction. Instead of relying on feel alone, you can see exactly why your ball behaves the way it does and view real-time graphical proof as your swing patterns improve.
