We are lucky here at Malton & Norton Golf Club to have access to some amazing facilities.
Boasting a combination of stunning parkland scenery, outstanding practice facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere, the club provides the perfect setting to improve your game.
The Course
Malton & Norton Golf Club has a magnificent 27-hole course, spread across three distinct loops – the Welham, Park, and Derwent. The course offers a blend of challenge and variety. Each 9-hole loop boasts wide fairways, well-maintained greens with subtle undulations, and picturesque parkland scenery.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer seeking a full 27-hole challenge or a casual player looking for a quick 9 holes, the club caters to your needs.
The Welham course, known for its picturesque setting, is a great starting point. The Park course provides a classic parkland experience with mature trees lining the fairways. Finally, the Derwent course has something different – shorter in distance but with tighter fairways and strategically placed water hazards, demanding accuracy and precision.
The Driving Range
We have access to a fantastic driving range to help you refine your swing. This 12-bay covered driving range ensures you can learn and practice comfortably even on rainy days.
Adjacent to the bays there are grass hitting areas which are available during more favourable weather conditions. This allows you to hit off real grass, replicating the conditions you will encounter on the course.
Additional to the driving bays, we have a dedicated teaching bay that is ideal for taking lessons. Here you can receive personalised instruction in a more private and focused setting.
Short Game Practice Area
The club also has an amazing short game area where we can sharpen your chipping, putting, and bunker play.
This area really is state-of-the-art and you will be hard pressed to find a better short game practice facility anywhere in the local area and beyond.
It features a large and undulating dedicated chipping green with many different flags to aim at, numerous bunkers to practice different length sand shots and surrounding fairway areas to hone your pitching skills.
