Throughout the season, Malton & Norton Golf Club hosts dedicated demo days and custom fitting experiences in partnership with major equipment brands. Whether you are looking to gain extra yards off the tee, tighten iron dispersion, or find the ideal wedge gapping, custom fitting ensures every club in your bag earns its place.
How a Fitting Session Works
Rather than guessing off the rack, a custom fitting session uses real ball-flight data and launch monitor analysis on our practice range. Working alongside brand specialists and PGA Professional Joel Preston, we test head designs, shaft profiles, lie angles, and grip sizes to find your optimal setup:
- Launch Monitor Analysis: Review ball speed, launch angle, spin rates, and carry distances with precision tracking.
- Extensive Shaft Matrices: Test varying shaft weights, flex profiles, and torque ratings to optimise tempo and timing.
- Head & Loft Adjustments: Find the right head shape, centre of gravity setting, and face angle for consistent fairway finding.
- Real-World Turf Interaction: Hit off natural range turf and dedicated bays to see actual ball flight and turf interaction rather than relying on computer estimations alone.

Fitting appointments are run strictly by dedicated time slots to ensure each golfer receives one-to-one attention from the technician. Spaces typically fill quickly once dates are confirmed.
